The project required careful planning and coordination due to the limited space available on the building site. Arayasun Construction scheduled material deliveries carefully, maintained a clean and safe work area throughout construction, and worked collaboratively with the architect to resolve building details as the project progressed.
Construction also took place during a period when many building materials were difficult to obtain, requiring flexibility and thoughtful adjustments while maintaining the intent and quality of the design.
Today, the completed ADU provides a comfortable, efficient living space while demonstrating how an accessory dwelling unit can add valuable and flexible housing to a residential property in Salida, Colorado.
